Susana is a lighting architect with international background in sustainability and wellness. Her practice focused on architectural specification within international markets as representative of European manufacturers in the US and South America for the past 30 years. She holds a strong reputation in design oriented client development, product promotion and creative sales plans. Her comprehensive industry understanding of manufacturing processes and market leaders together with her proficiency in business development and marketing strategies in diverse contexts facilitates her unique ability to bridge the gap between clients’ expectations and industry capabilities and channels.
As a member of the AIA (American Institute of Architects) she is presently appointed to serve at the AIA CEC (Continuing Education Committee) and has contributed to the Design Excellence Committee of the AIA in Washington DC. As a member of the IWBI (International WELL Building Institute) she is presently coaching designers.
Her speaking engagements cover a wide variety of topics from lighting training for architects, interior designers and engineers, product internationalization, wellness building certification, design excellence and sustainability.
